Questions
Common questions about the assessment
What does the Growth Readiness Assessment measure?
The Growth Readiness Assessment measures six pillars of business growth readiness: strategy and positioning, systems and process, sales and marketing alignment, digital visibility, measurement and attribution, and investment readiness. Each pillar gets its own score, so you can see which area holds growth back instead of reading one blended number that hides the gap.
How long does the Growth Readiness Assessment take?
The Growth Readiness Assessment takes about 3 minutes. It has 10 multiple-choice questions: one about your role, which is not scored, and nine scored questions that cover the six pillars. Your result appears on the page right after you answer the last question, and you do not need to schedule a call first.
Who is the Growth Readiness Assessment for?
The Growth Readiness Assessment is built for founders and marketing leads at small and mid-sized B2B companies, typically 10 to 50 employees. It gives an honest diagnostic of marketing and growth systems before you invest in consultants, tools or campaigns, and it assumes an operating business that already has customers.
What do I get at the end of the Growth Readiness Assessment?
At the end of the Growth Readiness Assessment you see a total score, a readiness level (Not Ready to Scale, Building Momentum or Growth Ready), a score for each of the six pillars, and an action plan for your three weakest pillars. The plan changes with your answers, so two businesses with different gaps get different next steps.
Does the Growth Readiness Assessment cost anything?
No, the Growth Readiness Assessment is free. It asks for no payment details and no email address, and your result appears on the page after the last question. The only follow-up step is an optional link on the results screen to request a one-on-one session with José Cabal.
How is the Growth Readiness Assessment different from a single-topic marketing quiz?
A single-topic marketing quiz scores one area, such as SEO or social media, and returns one number with a list of general tips. The Growth Readiness Assessment scores six pillars separately, because a business can be strong in strategy and weak in measurement, and one blended score would hide that difference.
Do I need to talk to José Cabal after the Growth Readiness Assessment?
No. The score and the action plan from the Growth Readiness Assessment are yours to use without booking a call. The results screen includes a link to request a one-on-one session with José Cabal, and acting on the plan on your own is a complete use of the tool.
How often should a business retake the Growth Readiness Assessment?
Retake the Growth Readiness Assessment about every six months. Positioning, pricing and sales plans change on that timescale for a growing small business. Retake it sooner after a major change, such as a new sales hire, a pricing change or a new service line, to see which pillar moved.
A note from José
Most businesses don't have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem. This assessment looks at the same things I look at with every client before we start working together: strategy, systems, sales-marketing alignment, and whether your tools support growth or just create busywork.
Ten questions. Real answers. No fluff.
