Marketing automation Vancouver — the follow-up that never gets forgotten.

Most leads do not buy on the first visit. They need a few touches over days or weeks. Marketing automation is the set of workflows that send those touches for you — email sequences, lead nurturing, and lead scoring — so every new lead gets the same steady follow-up, and only the ready ones reach your sales team.

The real problem

Your leads are slipping through the gap after the form.

A person fills out your contact form or downloads a guide. What happens next? At most Vancouver businesses your size, the honest answer is: it depends who is around that day. Sometimes they get a fast reply. Sometimes they get a reply three days later. Often they get nothing until a salesperson happens to scroll back through the inbox. The lead was fine. The follow-up was not.

Marketing automation fixes that gap. It is the workflow layer that sits between a new lead and your sales team. When someone raises their hand, a sequence starts on its own: a welcome email, a few helpful follow-ups spaced out over days, and a quiet score that goes up each time they open, click, or come back. When the score says they are ready, the lead is handed to sales — with the history attached, not from a cold start.

This is a different job from general AI automation. This is the marketing and CRM side: email sequences, nurturing, scoring, and the handoff. It is the plumbing that turns interest into a real conversation. And it only works if the process underneath is sound — automating a broken follow-up just breaks it faster and at a larger scale. So the process comes first, then the automation.

What you get

What marketing automation covers when I build it.

  • Email workflows

Welcome sequences, nurture series, and re-engagement emails that go out on their own schedule. Each new lead gets the same steady follow-up instead of a reply that depends on who was free that day.

  • Nurture paths

Different leads need different messages. A lead who read a pricing page is ready for a different message than one who grabbed a beginner guide. Workflows branch on what people actually do, so the follow-up fits the person.

  • Lead scoring

A simple score that rises when a lead opens, clicks, visits key pages, or replies. It tells you who is warming up and who is not — so your sales team spends time on the leads that are actually close.

  • Marketing–sales handoff

A written agreement on what a 'ready' lead looks like and what happens the moment one appears. The lead moves to sales automatically, with its full history, so no one starts from zero.

  • Lead routing and rules

Rules that send the right lead to the right person, tag it correctly, and stop leads from sitting untouched. Clear ownership means fewer leads that quietly go cold.

  • Clean CRM setup

Automation is only as good as the data under it. I set up your CRM fields, stages, and lists so the workflows have something reliable to run on — no duplicate records, no guessing.

How it works

How the build works.

  1. 1

    Map the real process

1–2 weeks. Before any automation, we write down how a lead should actually move from first contact to a sales conversation. If the process has holes, we fix those first, because automating a broken path only breaks it faster.

  2. 2

Set up the CRM and scoring

1–2 weeks. I configure your CRM, define what a good lead looks like, and build the scoring model. This is the foundation the workflows run on.

  3. 3

    Build and test the workflows

1–2 weeks. I build the email sequences, nurture branches, and the sales handoff, then test them with real cases before turning them on. Nothing goes live until it does what it should.

  4. 4

    Run and refine

Ongoing. We watch what people open, click, and act on, then adjust the timing, the messages, and the score. The system gets sharper over time instead of going stale.

Straight pricing

Where marketing automation sits in the pricing.

The build happens in the Launch stage of my Growth Strategy Partner service — a configured CRM, the core workflows, and a written marketing–sales agreement. That service is $2,500 one-time onboarding, then $3,200/month. The ongoing work of running and improving the workflows can also live inside the Online Visibility System at $1,500 setup and $1,400/month. Which one fits depends on what you already have in place. See the full scope and what is — and is not — included on the services page.

Common questions

Questions before you start.

I will not guarantee sales numbers, because no honest marketer can promise that in advance. What I promise is a follow-up system that runs every time, a clear view of which leads are warming up, and a clean handoff to sales. Start with the free Growth Readiness Assessment and we will see if it is a fit.

What is marketing automation?+

Marketing automation is a set of workflows that follow up with your leads for you. When someone fills out a form or shows interest, the system sends a planned series of emails, tracks what they do, gives them a score, and hands the ready ones to your sales team. It does the steady follow-up every time, instead of only when someone remembers.

How is this different from AI automation?+

AI automation is broad — it can automate many kinds of tasks and build agents across a business. Marketing automation is the specific marketing and CRM layer: email sequences, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and the handoff to sales. This page is about that marketing workflow layer, not general AI agents. If you want the wider view, see the AI automation page.

Do I need a CRM like HubSpot for this?+

Yes, in practice. The workflows, scoring, and handoff all run on your CRM. If you already use HubSpot or a similar tool, I build inside it. If you do not have one set up properly yet, that setup is part of the Launch stage — a clean CRM is the foundation the automation sits on.

What if my follow-up process is a mess right now?+

Then we fix the process before we automate it. Automation copies whatever process you give it and runs it at a larger scale. If the process has holes, automating it just makes those holes bigger and faster. So the first step is always to map how a lead should move from first contact to a sales conversation, then build the workflows on top of that.

Will this replace my sales team?+

No. The point is the opposite — it protects your sales team's time. The workflows handle the early, repetitive follow-up and the scoring, so your salespeople talk to the leads that are actually close to buying instead of chasing everyone. The human conversation still happens with a person; the automation just makes sure the right leads reach that conversation.

How much does marketing automation cost in Vancouver?+

The build is part of my Growth Strategy Partner service: $2,500 one-time onboarding, then $3,200 per month, which includes the CRM setup, the workflows, and the marketing–sales agreement. The ongoing run-and-improve work can also sit inside the Online Visibility System at $1,500 setup and $1,400 per month. See the services page for the full breakdown.

How long does it take to set up marketing automation?+

Most builds take 3 to 6 weeks end to end: 1 to 2 weeks to map the real lead process and fix any holes, 1 to 2 weeks to set up the CRM and scoring model, and 1 to 2 weeks to build and test the actual workflows before anything goes live. Nothing is turned on until it has been tested against real cases.

Can you build lead scoring without full marketing automation?+

Yes, though in practice the two are built together, since a score only matters if something acts on it. Lead scoring on its own tells you who is warming up. Pairing it with the workflows and the sales handoff is what turns that score into an actual routed, ready lead — which is why they are usually part of the same build.
